Joe, I have moved to Alpine, TX, and am volunteering at the Animal Shelter here, but unfortunately do not know anyone in Houston looking to adopt. When I lived in Austin, I volunteered at the Animal Center there, working with the cats, and I highly recommend that as a solution to the problem if none other can be found. They have a 92% save rate. They only put down animals too sick or aggressive to be adopted. Hope they can find a good solution to the problem. Besides, my cat, Ms Precious will not abide another cat…
